Multiple users on one computer - a simple solution.
"On multiple users.... If you are using IS desktop, I'm not sure. My wife & I share a couple of computers (laptop & desktop) With Outlook, each user has a seperate outlook profile (WinNTProfilesnameApplication Date... Whomever is logged in to the computer gets their own outlook profile synced to the Rex. Only need one copy of IS for Rex loaded. Don't know if this helps. I've done this on NT, '98, and '95, not 2000 or ME."

Mac users should be able to sync via PCMCIA or cradles using Virtual PC. (From Chris.)
"Good news for mac os 9.1 users. If you download the rex 6000 program update from march 2001 instead of using the old version on the cd that is coming with the rex, then u can sync the rex without a problem in VPC 4.0!!!! with the USB craddle. Its not quick, but it works. Be patient, because every stap takes a while!! Sync. takes about 7 minutes."
We've also heard (see below) that users have sync'd successfully w/Virtual PC and the PCMCIA slot.
Some REX NET sync problems might be fixed by initializing your REX. (Thanks, Glenn.)
"All of a sudden last week my rex.net web sync stopped working to my rex6000. . . When my rex syncs with rex.net, it appears (according to the display messages from Intellisync) that it logs in successfully, validates the firmware, gets the content from the web, optimizes the memory and then it appears to successfully write the rex image. BUT, it does not write that image to the rex! It returns to the intellisync program with 'Done!'. When I view the rex6000 under Web, there is NO data and it says I need to visit rex.net to enable this feature! It had been working fine for several weeks.
On a whim, I opened RexTools and did an 'initialize'. Then I opened Intellisync and re-synced everything. Guess what? the rex.net information made it down to the Rex. I reloaded TinyDraw and resynced and it still works fine. go figure."
Latest: REX NET fixes/updates won't be complete until the end of April. (Thanks, Glenn.)
"Since you are a REX.net registered user, you will be notified via email when the movie listings service is available again. Dear REX.net member,
We would like to provide you an update concerning one of the REX.net channels you subscribe to. In the past several weeks, some of you may of only received the address of your local movie theater rather than the movie listings shown at that theater. We have coordinated with our content partners and made appropriate infrastructure and process changes. Unfortunately this will not be resolved until the end of April. We apologize for any inconvenience this may of caused."
We'll check back in early May to see how REX NET is doing.
REX with USB for cheap! (Thanks, Simon.)
"eCost is selling the Rex 6000 w/USB for $103. I bought one - they shipped the next day & it is great ! Cheapest around but aparently a limited quantity. However, the quantity did get reset to 50 after it went down to 0 yesterday so I am not sure ho many they really have at this price."
April 13, 2001 (Friday the 13th - be careful out there . . .)
Amazing - best price yet on REX 6000 w/serial dock - $79!!!.
"Has anyone purchased a REX 6000 from PC Zone online. They have it with a serial docking station for 79.99, but no details. Can I assume it comes with the wallet, plastic case and CD? Calling them was no help either." (From TKL.)
Don't miss this - REX 6000 uncovered! Nude? (Thanks, Dan.)
"I saw that someone was interested in the Rex disassembled. Well, while I was vacationing in Seattle I broke mine (in my front pocket no less...) so I took it apart. Here's a super-simple site (it's actually pretty sad when you consider that that's what I do for a living, but I just never have any time to do this stuff for me) I put together to show a couple of the pictures I took. I don't know if it'll answer any questions for you, but here it is! http://www.hyperip.com/Rex6000/"
If you are having problems syncing some or all of our Outlook information, read on. (Thanks, Karl!)
"...I think I may have failed to clearly highlight the fact that even after doing the steps described on your Help site I wasn't successful synching with Outlook until I accidentally stumbled onto one other incremental step. After which the synchronization with Outlook seemd to behave as expected. I don’t have any calendars, contact, memos or tasks in sub-folders; i.e. the only instance of each are children of the parent "Personal Folders". Thus in going through the steps described on your site, I had only one entry in the "Selected Folders" list, and it was bold. Further, the "Default" button was not active / available (i.e. it was 'grayed out'). By all indications, the one folder shown was the default folder. But, the synch didn't work. So, I tried repeating everything. And, just for fun I double-clicked on the single bolded entry in the "Selected Folders" list. When I did that, a message box with an [Okay] button appeared. The message displayed on the box said “In selecting this as the Default folder, you are choosing to transfer records originating in the Rex6000 xxxxx folder to this folder during synchronization” (where xxxxx contained the name of the respective Rex application - Calendar, Contacts, Notes or Tasks). For some strange reason, Outlook synced okay (except on the calendar - see below) after the described extra step. The calendar did get further along in the synch process after the double-click exercise but crashed on record 167 of 631. I never figured out just which of my older calendar entries caused it to crash. After deleting over 300 old meetings and events it synched up fine. I would have liked to have known just which one was the problem but I wasn't patient enough to delete them one by one and retry synching each time (grin)."
This new information is also part of our New User Setup page. Follow the link to detailed instructions on setting up Outlook folders.
A reminder - if you are interested in creating REX Add-ins, don't miss Di's REX 6000 technical pages.
Di has put together an impressive amount of technical REX data, including information and approaches tried to date to create REX 6000 add-ins without an SDK from Xircom. Don't miss Di's site if you are interested in REX technical items. You can also find a link to Di's site from our SDK/Programmer's page.
Macintosh users - the REX 6000 will work with Virtual PC (in some cases). (Thanks, Donald!)
"I've installed the REX-6000 to my PowerBook G4 laptop. The operating system is OS 9.1 using Virtual PC 4.0.2 and Windows 98. I installed the REX-6000 into the PCMCIA slot and it syncs fine to my Outlook 98.
Virtual PC (with Win98 installed) allows me to run Windows programs on a make in a separate window. I've got a Palm Pilot and was using Palm Desktop on the Mac. However, since REX does not support a Mac and will either sync with Mobile Desktop or Outlook, I took my Palm Pilot, sync'd with the live data on my Mac, went into Virtual PC, then sync'd the data to Outlook. Once that was done, I installed the REX and set it up to sync via Outlook, thus transferring all my live data from Outlook to the REX. So to summarize, the sequence I went through is:
- Palm Desktop Mac --> Palm Pilot
- Palm Pilot --> Outlook 98
- Windows (Virtual PC) Outlook98 (VPC) --> REX-6000
However: I have not been able to get it to work with my desktop G4 system using the USB cradle...still working on that (boy...I hate Windows!)"
So, Mac users, it is possible to join the ranks of REX users if you've been longing for the worlds finest micro-PDA. If anyone syncing via the USB or serial cradle can report in on success or lack thereof, we'll see if we can get this resolved.
REX NET still not stable, undergoing content provider changes. (From Ph.)
"...I sent a follow up inquiry to Xircom and recived a reply today. In essence, they explained they are changing REX.NET content providers for reasons of reliability and, well, content, I guess. Reliability: Xircom was not pleased with the amount of downtime when REX.NET was "up". Availability: Regarding movies, anyway, Xircom found many reports of major theaters near Rex users were not listed with Rex.net movie listings. No update on when the change will become effective."
The good news - Xircom is working to improve REX NET, which has had a very inconsistent service level for some time now. The bad news - Xircom still isn't communicating clearly and consistently to it's users when they (Xircom) have problems or are making changes that affect users.
Movie listings haven't worked at all for several weeks, and worked intermittently before that. On March 30th (see our News Archive for March 15 - 30) Xircom set April 6th as the date on which movie listings would be fixed. However, when the April 6th deadline came and went with no fix there was no update from Xircom other than a cryptic message on the movie listing page that the content wasn't there for any of several reasons, with no statement about work in progress to fix the problem, and no timeframe for the fix. Missing the date is OK, but why can't we get some sort of update on progress like the one above w/out having to beg for it??
The fact that the information Ph shared above only came out after several requests he made to Xircom for an update illustrates that someone (please, anyone!) on the Xircom REX team needs to take an active interest in keeping their customers informed and updated! Information on key services like REX NET shouldn't have to be shared via this site and other message boards - Xircom should be sharing it proactively w/their customers via REX NET and direct email to registered users. In the absence of updates from Xircom many customers will assume that Xircom doesn't care, can't fix the problem, or worse, management isn't even aware there is a problem to fix.

More Mac info. (From Alex.)
"Chris, I have the same problem (with a Rex Pro) since upgrading to VPC 4 with OS 9.1. VPC 3 was working perfectly under the same OS. The problem (at least for me) lies in the fact that VPC cannot access the serial port, no matter what I do. I'm going to reinstall 3 to check what is going on. Any other with the same problem, or with other serial port problem? Alex"
More info on REX case options. (From Bill.)
"I had contacted PC Card Packaging some time ago about their plastic cases for use with PC cards. They have a light clear case and a heavy duty case. Their reply:"
"From: Bonnie Kaiden
Subject: RE: where to buy your products
Hi Bill, Thanks for your inquiry. We do actually get calls from private individuals wanting a case for the Rex Pro. We don't actually sell the POCKET BOX or any of our other products retail or web based at this time. But, we're happy to deal with the public on a direct basis. They can contact us on our email which is [email protected]. We take either a personal check or an individual can pay via Paypal, which we explain to them. It works quite well. Hope this is helpful.By the way, can we help you?? Best regards, Bonnie Kaiden PC Card Packaging, Inc."Macintosh user finds some success, some problems. (From Chris.)
"I use a REX 6000. I work with an apple computer, together with Virtual PC. Installing the software is totally no problem. VPC finds the new hardware (USB craddle, serial port) without a problem, but if i want to make contact with the rex (COM 3), i get an error. Does anyone else work with apple/VPC, and what could be the problem??"
Virtual PC is available from Connectix. If you have any suggestions, let us know.

REX add-in programmers take note. (Thanks, Mantillo!)
"I found a site with a freeware compiler for z80, maybe somebody with more knowledge of that can tell us if this could be useful to develope rex6k addins without the sdk! and here is the link: http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/.
Not really sure if this compiler has been tried before or not . . .
Windows NT compatibility can be a breeze in some cases.
"Go Figure: i bought a Rex 6000 when they first came out knowing it probably wouldn't work with NT. no matter how hard i tried i could never get it to work. so i sold the unit. decided to try again. bought another unit, loaded the software, plugged into the serial cradle and everything worked perfectly. i then downloaded the updated software, removed the old, installed the new, and crossed my fingers. again, everything synched perfectly and as dana has pointed out on his site, the rex.net now works too. what i don't understand is this....this unit is working perfectly without any intervention on my part....no "forbid os" stuff, no ".dll file" manipulation, etc. so, why isn't NT a supported platform? does anyone know? it can't because of the plug and play aspect; the 5000 wasn't supported for that feature either....." (From Read.)
Movie listings still down for the count on REX NET. (Thanks, Ph.)
"REPLY FROM XIRCOM CUSOMER SUPPORT: We are currently in the process of changing content providers for Movie listings on rex.net. This was anticipated to be complete by April 6, however, it's taking a bit longer than expected. As soon as we have an update you will be contacted via email if you are a registered user of rex.net.net. Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused."
To Xircom: This is probably the most useful/important part of the REX NET content! Please get it up and running soon!!

An update (already!) on Chris' REX Hex Dump add-in.
"Yeah, an update already: it occurred to me that if anybody actually wanted to use RexDump, they would get real tired of pressing the up & down keys. In lieu of a "jump to" or "search" function, here's a quick hack: the "back" key now jumps (forward!) by 1000h, so you can get where you want to go quicker. Also, my apologies for the lame 5x7 font. As you probably guessed, I created my own, and the lower case obviously needs some work!"
Go to our Add-Ins page to download the REX Hex Dump add-in that Chris developed. Note: This add-in is mostly for technical folks to play with. If you'd like to get involved with the folks exploring the REX and SDK development, let us know.
Technical information on the REX 6000 Firmware from Chris.
"Some highlights in the existing Rex 6K firmware (1.1.2.7 in mine): - the 8 RST vectors at 0000, 0008, etc. - REX s/n at 1EF0 (in mine) - strings around 1BB8, 4660, 48A0, and 6250-6C40 - the RST 10 jump vectors at 4F00."
An update on REX Worlk Clock setup.
"I am a new Rex 6000 user and I have been trying for the past few hours to discover hot to setup my city and time correctly. Your page helped me a lot, but there is still something I had to do which you do not mention. Specifically, I noticed that in order to (automatically) associate my current rex time with my city (Athens, Greece) , I would have to set my city to be the first on the top of all others in the .csv file. Further more, the second city is always displayed in the Rex with a plane image, although I do not know exactly what that means yet... Kind Regards, Argyrios."
A good place to shop for a REX in Holland.
"Hi there, I fount a REAL cheap Holland shop for the Rex 6000 with USB. Only FL.375, Aces Online, I bought my own there, perfect service and delivery. Met vriendelijke groet, Pieter Zandbergen, "
See our Internet Resources page for more online vendors for the REX around the world.
An update on syncing between two computers . . . it appears it really should work, but it hasn't yet. . .
"I have spoken with Xircom on this matter and they have advised me that it should work if the "REX6000 Wins" selection is selected (in Intellisync configuration for conflict resolution). The trick is that the Intellisync software must be initially setup with "REX6000 Wins" selected for it to work.
They informed me that I could also go into the Intellisync for Rex directory and delete the configuration files (12 digit alphanumeric)and then setup the software for a "REX6000 Wins" sync. Did it and it still won't carry events that have been synced at home over to my work computer (but it does carry events from the work computer to home). I am beginning to think that maybe this is because I am running Win 95. Perhaps they weren't stringing us a line when they said the software isn't compatible with Win 95." Thanks, Howard!
Tired of that bright green USB sync monitor icon in your system tray? Daniel was . . .
"I don't know if anyone else feels this way about the bright green REX icon in my System Tray: It had to go. I edited the embedded icon on the rexsymon.exe and removed the green, looks very sharp now. I attached a zip with instructions and the file if you think people would like it. Thats all, thanks again."
Here's a zip file with a readme.txt, the before and after pictures, and the modified file!
Some new progress on the add-in front. (From Chris.)
"Attached is a little Rex 6K addin I've created. It's a Rex memory viewer, hex-dump style, called "Rex Dump". It's very primitive, only supports scrolling up and down, always starts at location 0000, and only views the first 64K of Rex memory. Just thought I'd share it with the Rex community, as a baby step towards greater things. Making some progress on the internals of the Rex 6K firmware; near the top of my list is to make tasks viewable by category, like memos.
I wrote this app in Z-80 assembly language, using what I've gleaned by disassembling some of the existing Rex add-ins. Not the easiest way to program (I do C/C++ for a living), but not that hard either."
To see/play with Chris' add-in, see our Add-ins page and follow the link to the sample add-in.
An interesting REX case idea that no one else has mentioned, and a way to extend battery life using the serial cradle. (From Chris.)
"I've got some other ideas on cases (my current favorite is a clear vinyl badge sleeve, hanging behind my ID badge/keycard), and on extending the battery life of the Rex 6K (on the weekends, when I like to jot lots of ideas into the Rex, I carry it in the serial cradle, so it uses the 4-AA power. I know, sounds klunky, but works great. Just open it up & remove the serial cable; also, you gotta remove the Rex batteries before inserting it in cradle) more later.."

Taking the weekend off to smell the roses. . . see you in a few days with more current events.

REX cases available. . .
The silver case covered in the News below generated a fair amount of interest from other REX users. From AntMelNat:
"Since so many others expressed interest, I went back and bought all the store had. Unfortunately, they tell me that the case is now a discontinued item."
You can see several pics of the case and order one ($12 plus shipping) from this site.
A comparison of CR2016 batteries for those "smart shoppers" among us. (Thanks, LuckyLuciano). Updated since original post - batteries added and mAh values corrected.
"Ok, Rexers, after extensive research, here is the scoop on batteries. Listed with best capacity first:
Brand Model mAh Maxel CR2016 90 Panasonic CR2016 90 Varta CR2016 90 Sony CR2016 85 Energizer CR2016 80 Renata CR2016 80 Duracell DL2016 75 Rayovac BR2016 70 That's a 20-28% improvement in capacity from worst to best. That should translate into a similar percentage increase in battery life in your R6K. Caveat: remember, these are manufacturer specs, and your mileage may vary. BTW, my R6K came with Maxell CR2016 batteries installed."
See the General Questions section of our REX FAQ pages for more information on batteries, including some inexpensive sources.

Xircom responds to the "discontinued" statement in in the PDA review in Consumer Reports May 2001.
"Dear Rod, Thank-You for advising us of this misprint! We have forwarded yours and many others to the appropriate personnel to address this situation. Sincerely, Xircom Support " (Thanks Rod.)
So no worrries (yet! <g>) about discontinuation.
Welcome, Latvia!
Just noticed that a user from Latvia has recently visited here!
This year Riga, the capital of Latvia, is celebrating its 800th birthday! Welcome, Latvia, and happy birthday!
Response from Xircom sales to strange story in Consumer Report
This was the story - from a review of PDA's in Consumer Reports in the May 2001 issue:
"Xircom REX 6000: Card-sized organizer that's too small to use easily. Easily connects with a laptop, but overall performance is limited. 1 1/4 oz. 3 1/2 x 2 x 1/4 in. AVAILABILITY: Discontinued but may be available." (Emphasis added.)
And a response from Xircom sales:
"I am afraid l am unable to tell you much about the future of the Rex card as this will be entirely at the discretion of the Intel Corp, they are in charge of everything from now on."
Well, that certainly straightens that out! If anyone has been able to get better information, let us know. The Consumer Report comment was probably in error, but it sure would be nice to know for sure. . .
Another case of a good REX case . . .
A nice case discovered by chance in a store by AntMelNat.
"The case is brushed aluminum with a locking clasp, hinged on the narrow side and is sturdy and light weight. This case has a low profile and is very attractive. It is about equal in length to a jewel case but about 1/8" less in width and 1/16" less (about a nickel width) thick. I like the fact that it can be easily customized in a variety of ways to suit my needs. The case will hold about fifteen Post-it notes or five or six blank note cards or business cards along with my REX. Or it can hold a credit card or drivers license and two business cards and the REX. Since using this case my co-workers, who have seen my REX many times in the jewel case, all of the sudden take notice. I have been carrying this case in my shirt pocket or in a LOOSE FRONT pants pocket for over a month now without any damage to my REX. If anyone is interested in getting one of these cases, I can see if the shop I found it at has any more. You can contact me at [email protected].
Like several other REX users, I have been using the Fisher Bullet Space Pen with stylus tip. It is small, writes and works great. A side note, I have found that my Photon Micro Light, which is a tad bigger than a quarter and fits on my key ring, substitutes well for a lighted stylus for REXing after dark. It is available in most Outdoor/Sporting Good stores. I picked-up mine at REI. "
For more case options, see the REX Pics section on our REX History & Pictures page.

So how big is a REX, anyway?
Thanks to Amiram for the source photos for this "collage" of PDA's. That's a Compaq IPAQ at the bottom of the pile, then a Palm Vx, followed by a REX wallet case and finally a REX in the new plastic case on top. I've tried to align the bottom and left edges of each PDA as carefully as possible. (Here are the original images.)
Another source for cheap CR2016 batteries.
From Tarka (thanks!):
"I found a website where the CR2016 batteries that the REX uses are being sold wholesale. $0.75 for 1-49 count and $0.55 for 50-100 count! I haven't purchased any batteries from them yet so I don't know what their service is like. It's www.batterystore.com."
Look under "Lithium Coin Cells" on the bottom-lef of the Battery Store home page. The company (TNR Technical) lists locations in Florida and California. The Lithium Coin Cells page has a statement at the top that reads:
"LITHIUM COIN CELLS ARE AVAILABLE FROM ALL OF THESE MANUFACTURERS: DURACELL, EVEREADY, MAXELL, PANASONIC, RAY-O-VAC, RENATA, SANYO, SONY, AND DAITRON."
Strange story in Consumer Reports
A recent review of PDA's in Consumer Reports (May 2001) was "interesting" to say the least. While not a very flattering review (oh well, everyone can't see the inherent beauty of the REX 6000 <g>) it was a specific coment that a few readers found troubling:
"Xircom REX 6000: Card-sized organizer that's too small to use easily. Easily connects with a laptop, but overall performance is limited. 1 1/4 oz. 3 1/2 x 2 x 1/4 in. AVAILABILITY: Discontinued but may be available." (Emphasis added.)
A request for clarification has been submitted to Xircom sales. We suspect this is an error by Consumer's Union, as this news has not been seen anywhere else. If anyone has looked into this and has a response from Xircom, let us know! (Thanks, John, for the quote.)

Sources for eTexts and eBooks (and ePoems, and eQuotes, etc.) for your REX.
"About ebooks. I've just downloaded some poems - yeh poetry!! Lake Isle of Inisfree in fact - from Bartleby.com, saved as txt files and pasted as Notes in Outlook. Seems fine to me." (Thanks, Alan.)
Here's what Bartleby is about:
There are also books and other text downloads at Generation REX:
Generation REX contains many text files on different subjects that you can download to your REX, including (number in front of item is the number of that type available in a zipped download): 34 Books, 14 Conversions, 32 Famous Quotes, 47 First Aid, 88 Humor/Jokes, 15 Informational, 23 Jewelry, 25 Lists, 46 Poetry, 24 Short Stories, 7 Tips, how to.., 10 Trivia Q&A.
Note that aside from eTexts, the Generation REX site is primarily focused on the REX 3 and REX Pro/5000 versions.
And don't forget the Gutenberg Project:
If you visit the Gutenberg Project site you will find eTexts versions of books in the public domain - these can be copied into memos/notes and sync'd to your REX for reading during a boring meeting or endless flight. Worth looking into if you're interested in "Books on REX." The content they have includes Twain, Chaucer, Chekhov, Plato, Dickens, Fitzgerald, Dumas, etc., etc., etc.
There isn't anything at REXBOOKS.COM yet, but they have promised eBooks in the future.
A reminder how things work when you download large text files to your REX:
"If you are concerned about the size of these texts, note that memo size on the REX is limited by total memory available - there is no specific limit on memo sizes. Large memos will be broken into 31.2KB pieces on the REX, however. For example, if you download "The Illiad" and it is 100KB (ha!) there would be 4 memos stored as The Illiad(1-4), The Illiad(2-4), The Illiad(3-4) and The Illiad(4-4)." (Thanks, Bernie, for that clarification.)
New version of Multi-watch add-in from Mr. Morotomi.
There's a new version (dated 3/30/01) of Multi-watch (1.4) in English on Mr. Morotomi's web site:
Click on the "*Add-in download" link to see his English add-ins page.
However, there are also some indications that there may be a problem with it. From Mr. Morotomi's log on the page:
"The report that an alarm didn't ring with multiple function watches ver1.4 was taken. It asks for the report of the conditions which are detailed to someone. And, it thinks that it wants to learn whether an alarm rings at the time of the timer end of ver1.2, too."
So sounds like something that didn't get "upgraded" quite right, or was also broken on 1.2. If you have any feedback for Mr. Morotomi, please let him know.
REX NET downloadable Web content is now available for reading online at REX NET.
"I'm not sure whether or not this has been mentioned, but have you guys noticed rex.net's newest feature? It now gives us the option of reading our articles online."
When you log in to REX NET your channels are available as live links you can click on (same structure as on the REX) to read the articles. (Thanks, Sonus.)

A sad REX story from Danny, of interest to international early-adopters. . .
"I was in the UK for business and found that while I was there, they [REX 6000] had been released so I went out and bought one. I really liked it and was happy. Doing a sync using the serial cradle was quicker than using my PCMCIA slot but this was fine, I could live with this (it has since been made a lot quicker). I brought it back to Australia and was quite enjoying the fact that I was no longer double or triple booking myself. Life was fine...
One weekend (through my own fault) I managed to break the screen (this was actually just over two weeks ago). Knowing that they weren't released in Australia (and also knowing the breakage was my own fault) I proceeded to try to find out how to get a replacement Rex 6000. I spent a week at it and basically came up with a blank. Xircom in Australia claimed that (by implication) they could help if it was a warranty issue but as it wasn't, they said I was on my own. I tried Xircom in the US as well and they told me I'd have to simply buy another one through the retail network and I could try an online shopping site. I tried this too but found that none would export outside the US. I tried the UK and found that they were the same. I then tried Singapore, that great bastion of shopping pleasure and found that they could help me but only if I had an Amex card or Diners, so my Visa was useless.
My experience with Xircom's support has therefore been rather disappointing. I realise I brought one to a country where it still hasn't been released but I had hoped that being a global company that they would have been able to help me with getting a replacement unit (and I wasn't trying to claim it under warranty!). I had a collegue who was still in the UK after I left and I have now arranged for him to bring another one back with him. It turned out to be a rather expensive exercise though and although I like the Rex, I won't be relying on there being any support from Xircom anytime in future."
Does anyone have a catalog of Xircom REX merchandize they can send us?
From Bilal:
"I was visiting some old posts on pdabuzz and read a comment by one of the first people to receive there Rex that they got a catalogue with details about accessories that Xircom was going to offer for the Rex. I have to heard of this before but I guess it was put in the first few shipments before the recall. If this catalogue really does exist it would be really interesting to see what cases etc Xircom is planning or planned to offer"
