The DS2 (REX) Emulator

"Hi all, After 3 days of work, I finally put together a rex emulator. The emulator is now working with the rex firmware. Unfortunately, I could not get the user database in the emulator yet.

If you start the emulator, it will start the rex firmware as usual. The emulator will restart if you click on one of the "buttons" on the main screen, because the database stuff doesn't work yet. Only the calculator and the world clock (without cities) will work. If you tab the Extras button the addin will start.

Using the rex firmware has some advantages over the ds2 firmware:

• -No need to compile projects twice.
• -The font problem is solved.
• -With some tricks it should also be possible to load addins 8K.
• -The emulator shows the addin exactly as it would look on the Rex screen."
